There is no problem using 550cc injectors in ANY engine. As long as you have the proper engine manangment to control the injectors.
We need more information. Yes, Slap 550cc injectors on a stock ECU, and you'll run pig rich, if you can even get the car to start.
Add on an S-AFC and you might get it to run okay, but it will always be rather rich. S-AFC's only control Plus or MINUS 50%. This means you can only go to 475cc Injectors if you want the S-AFC to be able to compensate for them.
However, if you are running something OTHER than an S-AFC, it would depend on the specs of that device as to if it can use 550cc injecotors and keep you within the proper A/F ratios...

random, where did you get that 475cc from? the way i'm thinking of it, is we have 245cc inj stock. so the s-afc can back 50% of that out. so i slap in 550cc inj and tune it to -50%, so wouldn't you take 50% of 245 (122.5) and subtract that off of the 550cc inj flow, leaving about 428cc of flow?

The S-AFC will be -/+ on the LARGER injectors, so you subtract 50% from the larger injectors.

i will be using a garret t3/t4 in my setup. im looking to do about 7-9 psi at first before possibly upgrading the bigger internals - pistons, crank, etc. to run a little higher.

Okay, for 7-9 PSI, the 470/475cc should be just fine. I do reccomend the www.rceng.com injectors.
You MIGHT be able to get away with 350cc injectors, but the 470/475cc's will give you plenty of room to play with.
