I got these 3 tuning places in mind AMS Performance, P & L Motor Sports, and Boomba Racing. AMS and P&L are both AEM Factory Trained tuners so that's good for me since I have AEM FIC. AMS is specialize with Evo's, P&L is specialize with WRX and Boomba Racing is specialized with SRT. AMS and P&L both started on 2001 but AMS have more accomplishment of the 3, I do not have allot of info about Boomba Racing other than they make performance parts for Dsm, Honda, and SRT-4, should I go with AMS?
is there a price difference?
I know AMS is doing some stuff for the Genesis - they at least have an intercooler setup, if not more.
Since you're tuning with AEM products, I would go with someone that's trained with it.

AMS i would bet would cost the most, but have the most background. They might also milk their time so they can make more $$$.
AEM FIC software is pretty simple, not anything like the AEM EMS software. Anyone with a reputable shop shouldn't have an issue with the FIC.
I would find out prices of each place, per hour and go from there.
Also, I would make SURE you request a MAX tuning time, like 2 hours or something, so you don't go to the shop and they say 'o, it took 8 hours to tune this car, that will be 950$'
Knowing about your car and the build, along with the issues with your shop, I would really make sure everything else is squared away before you dump a bunch of money into tuning. (check your compression, do all maintenance you are needing/will soon need, etc)

Pick the place that has a loaded dyno for a more complete tune. I believe AMS uses a loaded hub dyno so they should be able to tune for ALL boosted conditions so you don't end up blowing up your car going up a long hill...lol

I have more Info I called all of them AMS charge $235/hr but he said it should not take more than an hour to tune the FIC, P&L has a flat rate of $450 and doesnt matter how long it will take them to tune. Boomba Racing charge $480 for 3 Hours Tuning and $130/h after that. They said that they include boost leak check and make sure that car is in good condition before they do anything.
