Hey i have been looking around and i heard you can put 4G63T motors in a 01 tiburon? but i havent found out what motor that is and what would need to be done to make that swap possible , like brackets , engine mounts or anything else custom. I was thining and hoping possible like putting a built h22a or even a civic motor for the parts you can do but the custom work for a civic would unbelievable im assuming soo if you guys have any ideas on the right motor that will help me gain into my tib im up . o, and i really want a gst motor like really bad in my tib soo if thats possible how do i do it?

thanks ahead

4g63t motors are in DSM's.

the 4g63t engine faces the other way in the engine bay. all those engines you listed are not fitted the same way in the engine bay, or have the trannies on the opposite side.

so, you can swap the engines in, but it would be a huge pain in the ass. i saw a sr20det engine in a tib, but it would cost buttloads to do something like that. you're better off spending the money on building the beta engine already in your car IMHO.

btw, your sig is about 3 lines to tall. could you shrink it down a bit please?

well my personal opiniona is that you should not mix and match engines from different manufacturers. if you want an h22 then stick with the honda chassis (even though the b-series is more tunable and abundant)

well, with enough money anything, anything, is possible. its the money that is the restriction in most cases.

some crazy swaps include the ford focus w/ a V8, the mazda miata w/ SR20 (nissan 240 motor), and also a twin engine hyundai tiburon (one engine in front and one in back, both turbo). and the list oes on......

best advice, just get the car with that has the motor you want to tune.

How much do you think it would cost to throw an 4g63t into a tib? Cause, in about 2 years, I'll probably have in excess of $35k in my account.
