Default Transmission Jacks

When you guys changed your tranny or clutch, what did you use for a jack? Did you buy an actual tranny jack like this

or did you use a regular car jack with some type of attachment or something to lower and raise the tranny safely?

Safely? Hah!. I laid on my back, pulled the tranny off on my chest and then rolled it to the ground next to me.

Taking it off, I don't use a jack. But I do use a regular floor jack to support it when stabbing it.

These fwd Hyundai transmissions are pretty light I've never felt like a tranny jack would help. I also use a block of wood on a floor jack to hold it in place while lining it up to reinstall.
