Default rpm/mph poll 5spd only

I wanna hear form Tiburons, Elantras and Accents and Sonatas.

Sadly HMA is wrong at times.

So I wanna take a survey.

Only Manual Transmission Ppl please reply.

Please this is important for all of us. so dont guess. If you wana add, get in your car and drive and take attention.

And drive safe!

To help out.
Post here, list your Model/Year/Country
List rpms at 80mph in fifth and rpms at 60mph in 4th.
list wheel size exmaple: 15/195/50

You need to have NOT done a swap. Or had your transmission swapped out. As these transmission would not be linked to your car model.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP

Please do not post things unrelated to this topic.

there are also gear ratio differences between 1.8 and 2.0L

Gear 1.8L 2.0L
-----------------------------
First 3.462 3.308
Second 1.950 1.950
Third 1.393 1.393
Fourth 1.061 1.061
Fith 0.878 0.837
Final 3.650 3.842

you might want to include your engine size, and if its the original size
or not.

you should also add, if you have tampered with your gauges

Atleast so we know it could be a bit less than 100% accurate...

Bryfx, I assume you got those gear ratios from HMA.

If you read my post...Those are known to be inaccurate.

Hence why I am collecting rpm/mph.

to see which cars have different gearing.

No, I got them from my shop manual.

inaccurate or not, there is obviously a difference that needs
to be accounted for.
