If you send your torque convertor to level to get it modified, i believe it has a higher stall rpm.

Also...If ya want smile.gif

I got the dragon fabrications shifter, that they designed for their twin tiburon. It plugs into auto tranny, no mods needed. And it will let you rev up to 6k if ya want and launch it.

also if ya wanna do the level 10 thing. I got a torque convertor you can buy.

well golly if you want to get all up in the guts of the transmission...but in his STOCK car,

what connects a standard to the engine?

a clutch.

what connects an auto to the engine?

a torque converter.

...that won't let it rev in gear, in a normal, working, stock car.

There IS a rev limited on autos, i hit it alot of times eek!

The ect-power switch tells the auto tranny to stay in lower gears longer, it is used for quicker acceleration and power runs.

Yeah, all engines have a rev limiter, put your car in 1st or Low (what ever it is labeled) and start accelrating, once ya hit redline you will notice it smile.gif cant be missed.

Rev limiters protect you from over reving and ****ing up the engine from stressing the valve train.

On hmaservice, the ECT holds a more agreesive shift pattern, yes basically it holds it in gear a few more hundred rpms longer. It does not really help much, its more of a feel then anything.

THe new tiburons do not have the ECT jsut a overdrive button. which locks out 4th gear.
