push clutch
ok ive recieved like 4 pms about this so ill just post all the info i have about this subject here
BUY THE CONVERSION KIT FROM DENISST99 AT ATELIERHP HE DID THE RESEARCH ON THIS SO SUPPORT HIM!!!!!!DO IT DAMMIT!!
this is what you get from denis
fork, bushing, lever, and throwout bearing all OEM parts (only denis knows from what car though LOL) so it will install like OEM no fabrication goin on here
SIMPLE INSTALL
now purchase a clutch kit for a 1989-1994 mitsu eclipse 2.0 NON TURBO
act part number MB3-XTG6 for a sprung 6 puc clutch
its advertised to hold 400ft/lbs of torque (clutchs should be rated in torque capacity not hp) SO basically your good for ~500hp more or less depending on setup
install the push kit on the transmission its pretty self explanitory, this will make you move the clutch cylinder to the other set of holes on the transmission (once denis' kit is installed youll see why) you do NOT use the throwout bearing supplied with the clutch kit you use denis' bearing and for future reference the throwout bearing is from a 2000 accent incase you need to replace your clutch at a later time
THE CLUTCH WILL BOLT ON TO A FACTORY FLYWHEEL i have my competition clutch (CC) bolted onto my fidanza
the reason why you do this is to get a MUCH stronger pressure plate to work on the vehicle
thats mine

Just a warning for people with a Beta 2 Tranny like me. This kit will not work unless your willing to take some risks and modify your OEM Throwout Bearing Sleeve. The one Denis includes WILL NOT bolt up to the Beta 2 Tranny and you need it for the Throwout Bearing to slide on.

Hmm, what year do you both have? Maybe you two could show some pics.
I have an 02 Elantra tranny, which is from a Beta II.

I have an 03 Tiburon 5spd.
Here's some comparison pics. The stock sleeve is on the bottom. You can clearly see how the new Accent sleeve bolt holes don't come close to lining up.

I just looked at my tranny, which is from an 02 Elantra and it appears to look just like 03tibe85's! I can tell by the outter shape where there's an interior curve on the left side.
