Default Is an lsd needed on a fwd street car?

Never driven a fwd car that had an lsd. Im wondering if a fwd car would benefit from one at all on the streets even during spirited driving, or is the track the only place an lsd would come in handy? thanks.

Depends on the power you're making. When I started putting down around 250whp, it definately felt like it was needed. When I installed the Quaife, it helped with launching and corners. When you get to around 300whp, it'll soon be required since the stock diff will break under the power and spirited driving. But for a mild turbo setup, I don't think it would be worth it.

if your making around 300 hp, yah id say you would need it, but for stock powered car, not really. maybe if your road race agressively, but other than that id say dont bother.
