Default Fancy clutches

Can anyone tell me why people spend tons of money on new clutches. Is there a benefit to those triple plated clutches or whatever their called.

Has anyone had any experience with this

Thanks

An upgraded performance clutch is only needed when your running a large amount of power. The stock clutch can only handle so much. If your running a Turbo/Supercharger with high boost then you would have to upgrade it. It can improve the driving experience, and also last longer/stand up to more abuse than stock clutches.

However, even if you only have a few mods, the right aftermarket clutch can withstand the abuse of drag racing or autocross without failing. smile.gif
