ClutchMasters Stage 4 clutch
I was looking at their clutches last night the price difference between stage 1 and 2 is negligable and there is no difference between stages 2, 3 and 4. Would it be ok to go with a stage 4? My frind just put a stage 2 centerforce clutch in his car it made alot of difference, it revs up so fast now its not even funny, can I expect the same from this? I am assuming clutch Masters is a fairly reputable company, any word to the wiser would also be appreciated. I do plan on running some sort of forced induction in the future.
Thank you for your advice.

I would do Stage 3, no more for a daily drivin application. The Stage 3 can also handle up to a Stage 2 Turbo/Supercharger (Mild boost).
IMHO I would stay away from ClutchMasters.
They had alot of problems with their past/previous clutch models and just re-vamped them for their current models. We had alot of preoblems with customers when we sold them.

I had both.Stage 3 and 4 and both of them are street usable and there is only a minor diff in the pedal.I'm not talking BS cuz i have used them for about 2 years and had no problems with them.Go for the stage 4 if you want to make sure not to spend more $ upgrading from the 3 like me.

I had a Stage 3 Clutchmasters kit in my Accent GT and I liked it a lot. It gripped extremely well, but was also very streetable and comfortable.

no, it's the same size asthe stock clutch, it just grips faster/harder. You won't be able to *feather* your clutch like the stock one.

Yeah, I've heard that good performance clutches are like learning to drive all over again.
Whereas most people burn a couple thousand miles off their clutch when starting at a stoplight, you don't have that option with the performace clutch. I think that's why some people regard sticky clutches as *unstreetable.*
Other than first, I rarely slip the clutch at all, so I'm probably going for a stage 3 after the turbo install (I'm figuring the stock clutch will have about a month of life after I get boost smile.gif )

if you are only planning to lets say do intake headers and exhaust with a nice 75 shot.... a stage 4 clutch is too much for you
Try a stage 3 or 2
a stage 4 clutch is usually for people who are going over then 300WHP mark.
Ill have a stage 3 clutch for sale soon...
