Default clutch prob..please help!!

I did a search on this, but I didn't see anything that sounded like my problem. When I am stopped and the clutch is pushed in, when I release the clutch to start going, it makes this squeaky noise. It doesn't seem to do it when I'm shifting or anything (and if it does it's very faint), just when I'm at a dead stop starting. Also I've noticed it when I start the car. Does anybody know what this could be? sad.gif My tibby is injured sad.gif sad.gif

It's not injured...just Squeeky. Maybe you should change your name to Sqeekyshark!

The cluch cable and lever just needs some lube. Use some small drops of oil on the lever in the engine bay, and some cable lube on the cable. Should solve your Squeeks!

hey red does it squeek when you are driving if it does and only quits when you push the clutch in you could have a bad throw out bearing! But I would try randoms suggestion first to see if it helps! if not then I would guess the bearing is bad! wink.gif

Throwout bearings usually don't "squeek" they "ping", "rattle", or worst case "grind". I have yet to hear one "squeek!"

In the morning when i start my car it rattles then when i push in the clutch the noise goes away. This is defently my throw bearing.
The bitch part about this is that its a perfermance clutch kit just installed and have to take it apart again just to replace the throw baring

That rattle is the throw out bearing, or air in your hydraulic clutch causing it to not disengage completely. If your bearing went out so soon after they replaced the clutch, I'm thinking they installed the clutch/bearing wrong.
