Can you fit a Beta Gearbox on Alpha Engine?
I Don't wanna buy a Alpha Box if the Beta one will fit. Because i had a beta swap engine. all my sensors and Cables have been converted for the gearbox.
Im not sure if the driveshaft/Starter/Bolts will line up.
Is anyone 100% sure ?

we only have 1.5 alpha engine i think. unless the 1.6 is in the newer LC2
what is weird is my 2002 1.3 alpha as a smaller flywheel and clutch as my newer 1.3 had.
anychance the newer 1.3 alphas was blessed with the 1.6 flywheel/clutch ?
if gearbox fits and bolts up would it be ok ?

Clutchs..
1.3 2006
Cover Diameter(mm) 215
1.6 2003
Plate Diameter(mm) 215
So if they use same Clutch plate is there a chance maybe Beta gearbox will fit without flywheel change? Will 2.0 Beta Flywheel fit the Alpha to save spending close to $200 on a flywheel ?

This is where it gets confusing.. lol The 2.0 Beta is also uses 215mm Pressure plate.
So can't i fit the Beta clutch and Pressure plate right onto the Alpha Flywheel ?
I.e If the beta Clutch/Pressure plate bolts too the Alpha Flywheel. I can Tighten down the gearbox. Should it be ok ?
From 1999 till 2005 Hyundai Used the 184mm Clutch Kits. (Will Require a new Flywheel)
From 2006 till 2008 Hyundai Used the 215mm Clutch Kits. (Same size as Beta Kit / 1.6 Alpha)
