so im new to the forum. just got a 98 elantra that shifts if i have the overdrive disengaged but if i engage the overdrive once i get to 35 or 40 its like it kicks itself into neutral. i gather after looking on here and other places these trannys are junk. so my question is what might be wrong with it and if it is bad do i just find another one and put it in or is there another auto that is stronger that will fit or should i do a munual swap. thanks
