Default 6sp tranny

Hey guys. Is there any 6 sp tranny that will fit our engines?...2.0L US spec Tib? Or will I be dishing out $$$ to get one adjusted to fit?

Anything is possible, so long as you have enough money. The V6 is a totally different engine (DELTA series instead of BETA series) which means the bellhousing mount points, the input shaft spline count, input shaft diameter and probably even flywheel and clutch is all different.

I'm very sure you could get it to work, but only after probably several thousand dollars in appropriate modifications. The gain would likely not offset the cost.

Given enough time, I'm sure SOMEONE in Korea will figure it out, if the 6-Speed tranny is stronger/beefer than the current 5-Speed.

Until then, just imagine you have a 6th gear! (lol)

or put it in reverse... seriously though if u want a 6spd cram the v6 in there, it will be easier and probably less $$
