Those of you with standard trannys do you jiggle the shifter side to side when you put the car in neutral? I realized the other day that I do this without even thinking about it. It just comes naturally and I do it subconsciencely. wondering who else does it too. laugh.gif

my friend bought and old 80 something honda accord and its a 5spd and he has a brand new vette and he ALMOST hit it because he thought he was in neutral and he was really in first when he parked in the garage if he was a foot closer he woulda had an awkward call to the insurance company

Haha, I do this anytime I'm about to park or turn the car off. I even did it the other day, and my car is blocked up with one axle in and no tires on O.o just a habbit that I'm not going to try to break.

Yeah I do it. While neutral is a pretty obvious position on both the Accent and the Tib, I've had manual vehicles that were less obvious.
