Throttle Body Spacers

I know that there arent any throttlebody spacers specifically designed for us, but are there any with the same bolt pattern and inlet diameter? maybe from a 4G63 mistu motor or some kinda honda engine? Just wondering.

A phenolic spacer is just that. A phenolic spacer. That's what they make. It's got a gasket on each side to ensure a good seal.

Guys, about a couple years ago, truck (large trucks, tractors and trailers... not pickups) designed whats known as a throttle body spacer. The idea behind it is to suck in the air in a spiral fashion similar to that of a tornado except it actually works. They stopped using them because the air sucking in was so cold, it created ice. I am sure you have seen these before, but heres a pick of what they look like for cars and pickups...

I know of a few buddies who have dynos of them on their duramaxes and powerstrokes, I just figured id give it a shot on my tib.

A throttle body spacer is just that. A spacer between the throttle body and the Intake Manifold.
They've been around for more than just a couple of years, and frankly, any of the ones you see that "make the air swirl" aren't doing shit but causing turbulence.
Here are some different throttle body spacers.

The only reason they are getting any gains, if they got any at all, is because the spacers actually lengthen your intake stream a bit and let the air's velocity increase. That's it.

Popular Mechanics did testing on all of the "Fuel Savers", to include the Tornado and similar products, to measure fuel economy and power.
None worked, most made the problems worse.
