Default Whats your winter tire setup?

Getting 4 Blizzaks put on this week, with my stock rims. My all season OEM tires were bald like crazy and the only time I use them is in the winter. So im spending the cash on good quality winter tires to be mounted. What do you guys have?

Michelin X-Ice on a dedicated set of 16's for the Tib, studded knockoffs of Nokian Hakkapeliittas on the Accent's stock 14's.

How do you guys deal with salt?

How do studded tires perform in the dry/slush?

We don't salt where I live generally. Studded tires perform about equally well to studless snow tires in slush, perform slightly worse on dry or wet pavement, but perform much better on compact snow and ice or other icy conditions.

I have 4 Blizzak's and I love them. I drove through 7 inches of unplowed snow last winter in them and had no issues.
