Default Wheel refinishing

Does anybody know what it cost to have a wheel refinished? I accidently curbed one of my Enkei's and the lip has big scratch in it. A new rim would cost me around $200. Not sure if wheel refinishing would be less or more. And if I have it refinished, will it be just as strong as a new rim?

I've heard of people paying from about $100 to $150. I have never had it done myself.

If you just scratched the wheel you shouldnt have caused any damage to the integredy of the wheel, just appearence. So fixing it would be more or less likely slapping it on a lathe, taking off enough metal all the way around the edge to make it apear new, then paint it wheat ever color you had. I would assume it would be just a better idea to by another wheel if it bugs you that much and use the scuffed wheel as a full size spare!
