Does anyone know if the konig toxxins fit on the tiburon or not? I just called to order them from tires.com and they said that they will not fit because of a screw or something that hyundai puts on the rotors. Is this a true statement or not? There has to be some way around it because I have seen them on a Tiburon, someone just had them for sale. If anyone knows about this please write back these are the rims that I want. What do I need to do to make them fit? My body kit won't look right with the stock rims. Any info is appreciated.

 

Yea man I have had them on my tib for over a year now and no prob whatsoever went right on. All you need is some spacers and they are fine. The guy you talked to most have no clue. Go to www.battleoftheimports.com and check out atco and pg. 3 of the show cars to see my black tib with the toxxins on.

The Toxxins won't fit the 1998 and older, but they do fit the 1999 and newer. Tell the dude to shadup and take your money.

 

Toxxins were the first rims I bought for my 2000. I bought them within a week of owning my car, but I bent the front passenger rim REALLY bad. So I sold all 4 of them for 600 bux! Put my stockers on, and now I have my 19's for show. I need to find a good set of 16's though for daily driving.

there is two screws holding the rotor(supposely) and need a STRONG screw driver and a hammer. you have to hammer it while turning.

 

My 2 screws came out with a normal phillips screwdriver an hardly any force whatsoever.

If the screws are difficult for you, I suggest you invest in a "impact" driver. It is a screwdriver that is MEANT to be hit with a hammer. When you hit it, it converts the "downward" force of the hammer blow into "rotational" force for turning the screw. They are usually under $20, and a WISE investment against stripped screws.

 

Random look at my 1998 tib I have had the toxxins on for a year nad no problems so they do fit the 98 tibs mine is proof. I have had no problems in the year they have been on.

Spacers WOULD cut it, but you have to get spacers are the right disc hub size, AND the right wheel hub size, AND have 4 holes for the captive bolts.

Where did you get the spacers to match the hub and wheel and 4 bolts?

 

hey i got a set of KONIG TANTRUMS and i didnt have to use spacers and ive had them for about 6 months and no problems
