Default Suspension Question

I learn as I need to, and I have yet to do anything with suspension, so I don't know much. That changes now. I will be autocrossing, so I need a suspension that is good for that, but I'd also like it to look good atop my 17" wheels on the street. Ride quality would be nice, but having it be geared for competition is more important. I just need to know what my options are, what's "the best", etc. Also, at some point I got the impression that if strut bars are in my future, they should go on first? Thanks.

First, you should figure out what class you want to compete in in autocross, then see what modifications are legal for that class.

No point in going with mods that will put you in an class which you are uncompetitive unless that is really your goal.

Do you want to do Solo II or ProSolo or ???

poke

SoloII rulebook:

As a beginner, dont expect to be competive your first time out. Just go to have fun! I suggest running in STS for now, as the tiburon isnt good enough for Stock class and you probably arent a good enough driver for Street Prepared.

I wouldnt get any wheels larger than 16's if you plan on competing.

Thanks for the link. Definately bookmarking. The SCCA site has none of that info on it.
