Default rear disk conv??

i was wondering if it would be possible to use brakes from the front of a tib on the rear or the tib....like if it would just be a matter of changing the caliber and rotor or if anyone makes rear upgrades

won't work. it's been covered here a little and a lot over at HP.

the rotors are different, the hubs are different, and the calipers are different (at least the bolt locations).

Plust you also have the issue of integrating the parking brake cable.

Best bet would be to find some rear disks off a wreck. That's what I'm going to do, when I get time. rolleyes.gif

good luck,

www.stranoparts.com has slotted rear rotors for the tibby if I remember right.

no one makes an upgrade/kit for the rear. Slotted/crossdrilled are your only options.

sorry, misread your question.

From what I remember, the rear rotors are not vented (slots along the thin edge), the front ones are.

Make sure that any cross-drilled/slotted rotor is specifically for the back.
