Someone told me if i dont get the rotors resurfaced that there's no point in changing the pads. I think its like $10 for a place like Pepboys to do it but I'm not sure if that is each rotor or 2 or 4.

Anyways I was just wondering If I really need to get them resurfaced or not.

While I'm here, I have searched a few times and can't find the answer, How can I get the front brake shoe off the rotor without using a screwdriver on the pads. The front brake pads are in perfect condition, well close enough, and I don't want to ruin them. When I take the 2 bolts out of the brake shoe I can slide it on the rotor but I cant get it off the rotor due to a slight lip on the edge. Help pls?
