Now, I'd like to preface this rant with the fact that you guys, the majority of you, aren't causing any issues at all. I love the site, have made some lifelong friends here, and will always support you guys.

But sometimes, at least 2 or 3 times a week lately, I wonder why I even bother anymore.


We work so hard on this site, making it friendly, making the information AVAILABLE, making meets, doing all the other stuff, and at the same time, trying to work on OUR cars.


I get anywhere from 5 to 50 PM's a day. Yup. Just me. I try to answer them all, but sometimes I just ignore stuff because it's so idiotic. This pales in comparison to my IM's. I'll come home from school and hop on here, to see I have 10 to 15 different IM windows open from folks trying to get in touch with me.

Don't laugh, Faith and others have seen this in person. I usually have about 15 to 20 IE windows and folders open on my PC at once, and I try to track down all sorts of info.


Here's what's been pissing me off lately.


1. New Users emailling me, PMing me, or IMing me, saying they can't register.

a. FINISH THE FRICKING PROCESS AND CONFIRM YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS!! CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDERS!!

2. New Users emailling me, PMing me, or IMing me, saying they can't post.

a. When you are done registering you get prompted to start a new thread in the New Users section. POST THE THREAD AND TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF AND YOUR CAR!!!

3. Folks that read the site, and won't join or won't post, but want to ask me questions for hours.

a. I'm not kidding, this one is driving me crazy lately. POST YOUR QUESTIONS IN THE FORUMS!!! Folks will answer them! Post legibly! Look at this BS below.

Oh, that's just the tip of the iceberg man. I keep getting GK folks telling me all sorts of stuff.

I've got one guy, bought a seat heater switch from us, then a year later wants to return it because it doens't fit. So, we get pics that it doesn't fit, and accept the return. We send him a new one, but the return arrives and he's cut the back of it to hell. I confirm in Jason's car that it doesn't fit, so we toss it out.

3 months later, he contacts us on the new one, says it doesn't fit. Then he says he went to the dealer, bought the switch for 28 bucks, verified that it fits perfectly, and returned it. He gives me the part #, which is the identical part # to the one we sent him, and says we sent him the wrong part.

Or, there's the folks on NT.com that contact me to say they want to sue us for sending them bootleg Tuscani Hood Emblems. Yup. It's bootleg because the adhesive on the back has a DIFFERENT COLOR STICKER ON IT than someone elses.

Why the hell would anyone bootleg something that is allready dirt cheap?
