Brakes
For the past week my rear brakes squealed, today i took of my rear drive wheel, and notice that the brakes were worn, pretty bad. So i went and bought all 4 new brake pads. Once i took apart rear drive caliper and took off the pads, the new brake pads wouldn't fit with the rotor.
I got the vice and tried to compress the cylinder in the caliper and couldn't compress it. So i took off the oil cable, hoping it would let it lose, and still nothing.
Is there a special way to compress these dam caliper cylinders.
When i connected everything back together, the cylinder moved, but couldn't be compressed. I don't think its seized.
any help would be great
thanks

DUde i had that problem. I forget exactly how to do it, but basically you need to turn the caliper. There should be 4 little indents on the piston. Use needle nose pliars to turn the whole caliper. Just put the pliars into two of those little indents and turn. You have to do it somewhat slow so just take your time.
I would not use needle nose pliers. Go back to the parts store where you bought your pads and pick up a caliper tool. It looks like a hollow metal cube and costs around 10 bucks. Each side has a different pin configuration to fit the slots in the caliper.. once you find the correct pins.. you insert a ratchet and extension into the opposite side and while pressing on the caliper piston with the tool and rachet.. you turn it with the rachet.. the piston should slowly retract.

as mad-machine mentioned...
go to any auto parts store and borrow a caliper tool for free... for mine, i just had to put down a deposit which i got it all back when i returned it.
from that point on, this job would be very easy
