The mod known as scheduled maintenance. wink1.gif

Could be a tire needs balancing, or you might need an alignment. Heck, it might even be something as simple as improper tire pressure. If you have aftermarket wheels, it could also be a bent rim.

oh man, thats GREAT!!! laugh.gif

wheel balance could be a problem. do you have aftermarket wheels? you could have captive rotors with out doing anything to the rim to make the wheel fit well.

A few years ago my last car's steering wheel started vibrating terribly at speeds over 60mph. I could barely stand it, my hands would be tired after long drives. Balanced the tires. No good. Four wheel alignment. Still nothing. Had the pads and rotors checked, to no avail. Rotated the tires, and suddenly it was greatly improved. So I took my car in one last time, and it turned out that I had bent one of my rims, which sucked because it was a discontinued model. So I lived with it until I sold the car, and promised myself never to run large wheels with low profile tires again. I kept the bent wheel on the rear axle, rotating the rest around it.

This afternoon I saw a "nicely" riced out Eclipse with 18" Motegis in a parking lot. They looked huge, and the tire was barely there. Just as I was wondering how the poor chap could stand the ride, I noticed that two of the wheels had MASSIVE dents in the rim. As in, so bad that the tire bead was exposed. And I thought I had it bad, that must be like driving one of those vibrating beds.
