So I paid for my OBX headers by check on E-Bay on 6/8 and they still haven't arrived. They claimed they would ship immediately after receiving the payment.

It's been 2 weeks and there's no sign of them. Anybody else have this problem? Perhaps there is a recall on them? Who knows.. I'm getting fed up. I've been in constant contact with the seller, and he gives me no info on whether they're going to be shipped anytime soon.

I think the company is Spartek Motorsports or something along those lines. For $30 of shipping, I'd expect them to have been here already. Wtf.

 

Its still possible that they are on their way... getting a tracking number would help.

 

Yeah I would say get a tracking number if you can. Sending a check is hard because you as the seller has to wait until the check clears to send out the product. This can take up to about 3 weeks (15 working days). Hopefully it wont take yours that long to clear but some do.

 

Remind me not to pay by check ever again

 

if you have a checking account why don't you just get a debit card. then you can use paypal.

 

You can use paypal with just a checking account, no need to have a debit card.

No sign of them yet.

I don't really E-bay enough to consider getting a PayPal account.

If they're not here within the next 2-3 days, I'm really going to have to have a word with them. Either way, they should be here by now because that check has cleared.

These headers better be worth it!! The fact that so many people are selling their OBX 4-2-1 headers is making me a bit uncomfortable

 

I know it's a bit late for this now....but there's a company on ebay called ssautochrome that I've dealt with for buying some obx stuff in the past. I DID have some problems, but they bent over backwards to take care of them.

 

This isn't SSAutochrome though.. this is Spartek Motorsports or something like that.\

Geez, what lousy customer service though!

The seller (who I'm in contact with) has terrible grammatical problems, and manages to make several careless typos in each and every sentence. Quite disturbing knowing that I bought a product off of him.

I'm anxiously awaiting that OBX motorsports box at my front doorstep. But c'mon now, I ordered those headers 18 days ago, WHERE ARE THEY? punch.gif

Yeah, I checked out their entire store. Not only is it all OBX rubbish but there's nothing else available for my RD Tib.=/

I e-mailed the guy back and requested a full refund of $187.00 and told him that I'd maybe consider being put on his backorder list, but God knows how long it'll them to get more in stock.

Now that I think of it, I'm saving an additional +/- $30 for NEWER headers, which is money that can be invested for something else.. maybe those KSpec smoked tails..

The total for the headers should be exactly $155.
