Yeah, he took the defenseman's skate to the throat and it cut his jugular vein. So you are infact watching the spurting with his heart pumping.

 

dude that was truly gross, i'd never heard of that ever happening in hockey but i always wondered how it couldnt have ever happened as much as they fly around from hittin each other and stuff.

 

That was pretty funny...... I would bet money on it he died. That was a lot of blood everywhere.

That is just a terrible thing to say...can't someone be banned temporarily for something like that?

He spent one night in the hospital, and played in a game two weeks later...those hockey players have some serious balls!

 

He put himself in harms way by playing the sport. So yeah its funny. It would be no different that if someone was car racing and fliped their car and so on. If the sport was not smart enough to impliment things that would prevent issues like that then yes. It is funny tongue.gif . It would be like seeing someone motorcycle racing without gear. I have seen goalies with neck gear before. Guess he should have thought twice about not putting it on
