Shoutbox Problem

to post in the shoutbox alls i have to do is click in the box below and type right?
if so i can never type in that

Do you click in it and start to type? Your talking about the box just above where it says shout right?

well nothing says shout on my screen, it says shoutbox. then theres shouts by people and blank box below it. but i can do anything with it
