Hrm... Lemme check when I get somewhere. Doing that would require wifi so I can log in with my net book to my home desktop via VNC then I can VNC into my media center and check settings, then verify my router. I'm on my iPhone with sub 3. Access right now. I was messing with port settings earlier to make sure I had access when I was out and that it was secure. I may have disabled my http port on accident.
My iPhone mac feed reader is reporting paciffic time zone, but it is updating. Everything is working properly

I just added it to my Google Reader which updates on my phone, and my phone is showing Welcome to the Forums" as the last post.
Also not sure if it's maybe the Google Reader or the code, but it shows the last 10 threads, then it lists the 10 again, and again...

I only see 10 entries logged at 18:00 pst. Anyone else seeing anything unusual? I tend to think it must be google
Hrm. Maybe google is reading the times as new entries. I should make times standardized somehow

I read my rss feeds on my desktop as widgets and in pulldown firefox menus. It is easier then going to a website for me. I have alot of them.
I will see about generating a unique file for each new RDT RSS item. This way it would check the main page, then visit the new entry's link and generate a rss file based on it's scrapings from it's last viewing of the newest item. When the newest item is different from the last time, it will create a new file with a new timestamp. It will then shift each of the generated files lower in the que and delete the last one. Finally, it will create the new RSS feed. This will save RDT bandwidth and change the rss feed from a snapshot of the front page items to a sequential list with 30 second resolution.

Could you just have it check this page and pull the recent titles along with their hyperlink?

That would require authentication. How about if I create a second account for the rss authentication so I can play with authentication in plain text

create DTN2 so we can remove it when testing is complete.
that is, if you want to attempt to make it work. You've already spent a good amount of time on this, I don't want ask you to spend more
