Redz suggested that I post this as a request haha. (was learning about clutches from Jon in the SB, I happened to mentioned something about Nate).. So here it is haha

SOCKS has a ton of valuable knowledge, he taught me and many others a ton of stuff.. He has been banned for a loong time, maybe time for letting him in again? Can always ban him back for whatever reason. Just a suggestion, not trying to tell anyone how to run the site

 

We've discussed it a bit in the staff area, and I honestly don't care either way. If he gets unbanned and begins starting fights and ignoring the rules again, he'll just get banned from it again.

Believe it or not, I'm actually REALLY tired of 1/2 of the crap that lead up to it. Every time there was a way for him to fight it out or argue something in the SB, he'd do so. So go get stuff back on track we'd have to make a new rule, or start enforcing stuff harder. It's been peacefull enough thta I don't want to get there again.

The main reason he hasn't been unbanned and why we haven't discussed it more, is HE hasn't asked.

Unlike SOME websites, this one is free for anyone to sign up, come in, look around and post. We don't hide anything from the member other than the staff forums and the Premier Member forums. We don't delete members, nothing, everyone has free reign over 95% of the forums the day they sign up.

Hell, the day they come to the site, they don't even have to sign up to read the forums here.

So I say it is up to the public here.

DTN will be back shortly.

As a DTN update, he is doing well, has contacted me a few times on the phone.

He reeinlisted into the reserves/guard and got a bonus, and just got offered a decent job down in Fort Polk LA. I guess he accepted it and is going to be moving there shortly. Since it's been so quiet and nice, expect to see his warning level, as promised, drop.

 

+1 for unban, as long as the drama stays down, Nate is a great guy and knows a ton.

 

to be honest it doesn't matter either way to me.. Im in my SB all day long, but im sure some people would rather just ask me stuff over here.. but on here, there the whole 'technical not allowed' which is all i would use the RDT SB for, or have a need for.. and its against the rules..
