I don't ever have to log in. The only time I have to log-in is after I clear my cache/cookies. Are you sure it's not the settings on your computers themselves?

For me, when I go to rdtiburon.com, I'm not logged in. But if I click something, say Forums, when the page loads I'm suddenly logged in.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>We "kinda" do. All I do is type in the first letter of my user name and it pulls both the name and password up for me.</div>

That's done by your browser, if you enabled the password manager (or whatever it's called).

My home and office computers both have the same issue. Used to be logged in when I type the rdt.com in, now I have to log in.
Also, typing my info into the login boxes on the main homepage doesn't work. I have to click the login-button and then put my info into that page. Does that on both computers also.

whats happening is (most likely since this has happened to me) the first time you come to the site and put in the username and password and tell it to save it saves it as one option with caps for instance. So you have for instance Supercow and supercow as usernames it thinks it two seperate ones and doesn't log in automatically since you need to "choose".

Now to the complicated side. If your having this problem delete all the cookies from the site, delete stored username's and password in ie or Firefox or whatever and come back. Put in your user/pass and save it but don't typo or put in the wrong password and do your username all lowercase.

then report back wink1.gif

mine works with firefox and xp and vista.

What I'm noticing is that it will only stay logged in from one location. If I'm at home and log in, then it will stay logged in forever until I tryto log in from work, then it will erase the home log in and stay logged in at work until I try to log in somwhere else (home). It only stays logged in one place at a time.
I'm also getting this same problem on another local board.

Work laptop: I have to log in EVERYTIME I visit RDT. Win XP and IE 7.... The information is wiped clean as soon as browser session is closed. Doesn't happen on any other forums I'm on, they always remember me.

Home laptop: never have to log in. Win XP, Latest version of Firefox
