Since we keep getting new threads on this, I guess I should have done this earlier.

Post the following here, only after checking the KNOWN & Working list.

1. BUGS you've encountered on the new software.

2. Requests for new modules or features.

KNOWN PROBLEMS, Working...

1. IMG tags, images don't show properly from old forum.
2. Find out how to import locations from old forum. *EVERYONE NEEDS TO UPDATE THEIR LOCATION AGAIN FOR NOW*
3. Find out how to FORCE users to update location & ride, including current users.
4. Fix "View Vehicle" button image in posts.
5. Find some way to make the Moderated posts waiting for approval EASY to find and use. The current system is cumbersome and ANNOYING as hell.
6. Set new users to have to post in NEW USERS forum first again.

Wanted Features - Let us know if you know where there are any good FREE versions of these modules.

Wanted:

Add a Forms link to the header next to " My Controls ยท View New Posts ยท My Assistant ยท 0 New Messages"

Not a necessity, but when I am in a post and want to look up something in another post, its easier to right click & open in new window.

ug... Is there a spell checker module? I apparently could use that too :unsure:

 

A feature I liked on the old software was the post preview. When you put the cursor over the topic, a preview of the post popped up. At the moment you just get when the post was added.
We need the old smilies back to. These smilies are lame 02.gif

 

suggestions:

1. Shoutbox:
a. show date AND time of the post. not seeing the time bothers me for some unknown reason
b. make a "view history" button like on the original shoutbox. after coming back to the site after 12 hours, i had to go back like 6+ pages to view everything i missed.

2. Smilies (hehe). i want them back, dammit! i stayed up til like 3 one morning workin on that sh1t, then had to go to class that morning

3. Swearing. f*** c***. need the censorship back up

Ok. I was just thinking that a "how things work" would be cool. Explaining How a cam gears, pulleys, turbos and everything work and the pros and cons of the part. More like a review but also a learning kinda thing. for idiots.... LIKE ME!!! just a thought!

Let's try it out and see how it works. If we like it, we'll get rid of Forsale/wanted. BTW, is there a place where we can see it setup allready before we try?

Never saw it, but I'd like to put a banner up for kspec.com again. Also, I'd like to put up some RDTib banners and other site banners at kspec's forums.
