i still have the "double back" stuff to do either from the shop or from home when using IE
but something strange happened (again) today
i was trying to get on rd.com,opened up the forum page, then IE froze up and gave me an error message..
closed IE, tried getting on another site, nada froze up again..
cleared cookies ,cache.. IE worked well for the same last site, get back to see RD.com... damn IE freeze up again..
try the same other site,freezing..
clear cache, and cookies.. works well..
i'm at home now with firefox,no problem, but i doubt i'll try to get back on RD.com from the shop with only IE running
what could be happening?

I got used to it. It's been like that for a long time. Let's come up with soloutions, not problems. Maybe when JavaGeek gets back he'll be able to help us out.

I'm using Firefox 2.0 and it crashes about 5 times a day. I'm so glad everyone convinced me to come over to it.
LOL
Anyways, for a bit everything was working great, then about a month and a half ago it started again, I have to hit back, wait for the page to load (it IS pretty quick, but still annoying), then click again, ect.
I miss hitting back, back, back and being at the proper page again.
There is new forum software out and we should be going to it soon.

For me, in IE, I used to be in the View New Posts search, click on a topic, click reply, reply, and to go back I would either just hit back 3 times real quick or the back button on my keyboard 3 times and be back at the new topics page.
Since I went to firefox, I have to hit the button, wait for it to at least partially load, hit it again, wait, hit it again, wait.
For a bit, after we moved the site and updated the portal, this went away, and was back to the way I like it, for about the past month and a half though, it's back to the click, wait, click wait.
Annoying as hell.
I wasn't having FF crash much at all before I upgraded to 2.0, but now it is more regular than it was on IE.
The other folks are having the same problem. They click back and it starts going back, but they click it again because it hasn't moved yet and finally it swaps back.
If they click once and wait, I bet it works, but it's annoying.
