Full screen editor inop on Linux/iPhone
I use Linux for everything. It comes with Firefox. Lately, for the last few months I've noticed that I cannot select cursor position within this box which I type. It's not a big issue as I can use the quick editor to make changes after I post. However, it has been an issue for a long time. Recently, I upgraded my iPhone to iOS4 which has the same bug in it. Because the bug now spans two platforms, it is not a bug, it is a standard. I cannot reposition my cursor in either browser. I have to use quick edit and quick reply. On my iPhone because the full screen editor does not work at all. On Linux, I just cannot reposition the cursor. I assume the two issues are related and the iPhone will just not allow you to type unless you touch a text box with a positionable cursor.
This has become a serious problem since iOS4 came up to standard. Hyundai Aftermarket needs a upgrade seriously.
The same problem affects RDTiburon.com. I assume that they are on the same version of IPB.

I don't have the problem you're describing under FF 3.6.3 in Ubuntu 10.04 2.6.32-22-generic-pae with Gnome 2.30.0.
I just tested it in the quick reply, and both modes of the full screen editor.
I'll check on the iPod touch 3G and reply.

I am on the iPod Touch now on the full screen editor and I can click and position the cursor just fine.
What skin are you using? I'm on Sub Black.

I always use default. That's the way the site was designed to be viewed... let me try with that black font.
This problem I'm describing spans RDTiburon.com and HyundaiAftermarket. It's curious that it is not on SoulHamsters.com

Still having the same issues with this skin. The problem is that the cursor is missing from the default full-screen editor. I cannot move the cursor around to perform basic text editing.

This problem spans my Ubuntu Linux Desktop 10.04, my Ubuntu Netbook running Ubuntu Netbook Remix 10.04, and my iPhone running iOS4. Windows boot/virtual machines are not effected.

I have 2 Linux machines that do not have this problem, both Ubuntu 10.04. Anything unusual about how your inputs are set up? I didn't have to do anything special.

Nothing unusual... Just all new hardware.
My iPhone is a 3GS as you can see in the statistics up top. The full screen editor does not work properly on 3 separate device, spanning 2 browsers and operating systems on 2 websites managed by the same person. I doubt it is a problem with my setup. It works fine on soulHamsters.com

I can't duplicate it on either Linux machine, one of them is 2 weeks old. Any ideas on how to fix it could be looked into but I don't know what the issue is since it works fine on my machines.

copy soulHamsters.com full screen editor to HA?
update HA?
I don't know the particulars off the top of my head. I've never bothered to muck around with IPB.
