Search my friend, asked and resolved.

LOL

Because of a former member, Speed-Factor, being immature and going back weeks deleting posts, we had to put a time limit in. You have 10 minutes to edit a post before you no longer get the option. Now, you just need to post your new links, and hit the REPORT button. In the new page describe that you need it merged into the first post to edit it.

I fixed your pics. FYI, please PM us if you have any questions or need assistance instead of posting on Off Topic. Thanks

How about allowing 3-6 hours vs 10/30 minutes?

Sure, there may be point/times when it still is abused, but the "10 minute" thing is really kinda annoying.

^^ Agreed.

Maybe even a longer period of time just for trusted and well-known members?

Too bad it couldn't be set on a category-specific basis.

Like for group buys and the market place, a 10 minute limit is understandable. But for like off-topic and stuff like that, it would be cool if there was a much longer limit.

It's at 30 minutes and gonna stay there.

Any longer and you tend to have enough time for someone to post a for sale thread, sell something, edit the thread, then screw the member that bought.

Again, thanks TIM!

As for different groups, we have like 8 members groups as it is, it's a enough as it is really.

For editing, it's no biggie, and it's on the admin and mod staff. We've been handling it fine too I think.
