Hey Friends,
It is time to get rid of the Tiburon, It was a fun ride but I kind of want somthing newer and not as crappy in the snow wink1.gif

2001 Hyundai Tiburon
Color: Silver
Mileage: 92,000
Location: Dayton, Ohio ( New Carlisle )
Asking: $5,000

Add-ons:
Vador "knockoff" Veilside Body kit
Vis Racing Carbon fiber Hood

It has a few dents, one in the back of the trunk, one on the driver side door, and the front bumper is starting to spider crack just a bit on the bottom.
It is missing one of the rims right now, but I will have a new one put on before we make a deal. (actully being shipped now)

All stuff done by a professional (body kit done by a respected body shop in Ohio)

Also have the original side skirts and back bumper
I DO NOT want to part out the car, or Trade for anything.

rear bumper needs alot of work.. fits like a turd.. and the hood also fits like shit in the front.. gotta love VIS and there sometimes way off, and other times spot on fitment.

rest of kit fits pretty well, and comes together nicely.. with a little work, that would be one hell of a tib in the looks department.

5,000$ seems like a pretty good price.

good luck with the sale.

yeah, the back bumper was a b**** to get fitted, we had to add 4 inches of fiberglass to the top lip to make it fit right.

Any ideas on making the hood fit right?? It just sticks up in that damn front and I hate it.

^^ Did you remove that rubber strip that sits between the hood and front bumper? If so, put it back in, it should fill the gap a little. Even my stock hood looks like its open without that strip in there.

about 50% of the VIS hoods i have seen have issues with the front of the hood.. its an issue in either the mold, or how it sets, cuz it bows up in the front. i don't think its fixible without actually modifying the hood, and then painting it.

can't believe you had to add 4" to that rear bumper..still looks pretty good considering the work that probably went into it. my buddy bought a fake VS kit for like 300$ and it was absolutely TERRIBLE.. fitment wasnt even close anywhere. the sides were 3" too long, the back wasn't close to lining up and the front bumper was very bad.

anyway, back to the hood.. post up some more pictures of it, fully closed so i can see how bad it is. looks like you already have pins trying to fix the issue. can you push down where it bows up and make it look right or no? tried adjusting your latch?

when I get back home tonight, I will post more pictures of the hood.

I am actually having second thoughts on selling it, but if I get an offer we will see.

Thanks for the input on the hood.

Really old topic, but this car is still for sale.

Stock Rims now, and the front end is kinda cracked.

I can post pictures if anyone is interested

I would take 4200.00 right now for it, has 99,000 miles now.(almost 100,000)

Runs Great.

I just bought a brand new 2008 Tiburon so I have really no use for this anymore.

I drive all highway to work roughly 30miles a day kinda of getting out of the "euro" thing.

but still have mad <3 for the tibbz
