MSD DIS II
355.35 shipped

Custom license plates(2)

It says 'Hyundai' in Hangul (according to a former korean member) to the left of the RD-1 symbol.
I do have a number 2 sticker (just one) somewhere, in the same font/size/everything. If you drive an RD-2 and want one (just one) then let me know, I will try and find it.

They are shiny, mirror-tine, as you can see me in the reflection taking the picture.

Reason for selling; I'm gonna be straight up honest. I am sort of in a bind. I have less than three weeks left of school, and about 10 flights activities left to complete. I don't even want to go into how much each flight is(lets just say if I sold everything at the price asked I wouldnt' even be close...02.gif ). You pay by the flight, and I am behind on 3-4 flight activity payments and am financially grounded. If I do not finish this course by the end of the Fall semester I will have no choice but to stay in Prescott-f^$%in-Arizona over our 3week christmas break to finish up.

I have already payed for my flight tickets home, and cannot get a refund. If I have to, I will stay and finish my flight course, I have no choice. I wish I could get a friggin job and pay for my flight myself but I simply have no time. I am always in class or flight (well not anymore) or studying or fixing some problem on my car, and now it's finals time. 02.gif

I'm not proud of this situation, to say the least...but the point of my post is to let you know if you want this stuff, be prepared to pay fast. Of course I will hold products for members who really want them, but in this case...and this case only..these items will go to the first who can pay/or my final decision. wink1.gif

My paypal is pganpath@gmail.com
contact me if you wish to purchase something.

bump for more info:

I also have the Rd1 eBay El gauges. Not just the overlays, they are ones you stick over stock faces and plug them into a power source. They have on on off switch. I can take those off my car and include them if need be (for a lil' extra).

Also, if you are looking for another cluster but are worried about the mileage being wrong, there IS a way to safely set the odometer to whatever you need it to be set at. Of course, you will have to take the odoometer out of the cluster, but I even think tibby01 has done a DIY on this. If not, I can provide one eventually.

^^you are right. If you would like to know how to set the odometer to your current position (IF AND ONLY IF you buy THIS cluster) than contact me in person. I will help you if you need it.

SilentSecret, I thank you and look forard to shipping your plates. (would you like the RD-2 sticker, it's just the number 2)??
The MSD DIS II is multiple spark discharge system that can be used on all cars with 4 cylinders and two dual output coils (our dual coils send sparks to 1/4 and 2/3).
There are many limitations and requirements in using this system such as NOT using solid-core spark plug wires...it is all listed in the link below.

The MSD DIS II is mainly used in forced induction aplications. It is NOT a stand alone controller like a Haltech or TEC-II(if they even make those for our cars). It is a great unit for retarding timing when you are going forced induction. Not only can you retard timing, but it also provides multiple sparks.. preventing misfires and such.
MSD DIS II and APexi SAFC II would be good investments if you plan on going low boost forced induction.

many many write-ups and random information on the internet.
Click here for MSD Igniton's packet on the MSD DIS 2 and 4

If you are still interested or have questions on the MSD let me know...

this is what the cluster EL gauges that I am selling look like:

It may take a week before they are able to ship though. FYI

As per request a member's question, I am posting a picture of what the faces (for sale) look like off of the cluster.

For the life of me I cannot find them on eBay (they used to be all over it), but here is some for a GK
