Alright guys. I know I haven't been on here for a while and I just started posting a bit again but, it is time for my baby to go. I have been thinking about this for some time because I would like a newer car. I was thinking about waiting for the next generation of tiburon but my dad says he won't co-sign for it since it will be about 30 g's. Plus it might not come out till 2009.

I am posting this here first even before I put a for sale sign in it even though I don't think anyone here will want to purchase it since it is an autotragic lol.
It is a 2001 tiburon with about 80000 miles. No modifcation as far as the engine goes.

Has a Cuda 1 FRONT BUMBER. The rest of the body kit is a different one.
The side skirts are damaged but *possibly* repairable.
Also I have chrome wheels. That do need new tires. One of the rims has a pretty bad dent, but it does not go flat if watched. I put air in it maybe once a month.

As for the interior, it is stock other than the sound system.

I have all clarion speakers in the car with a clarion amp.
The head unit is an alpine which was one of the top of the line head units for its time.
Plays DVD's and MP3 CD's. Recommend iTunes when burning to play.
Subwoofer is a Alpine 12" Type-X. RMS is 1000, max is 3000.
I also have a yellow top battery along with 0 gauge wiring to the trunk for the amp that WAS there. (Look at my other post)

The car was salvage when we bought it but it has been fixed several times. Since I did ruin the front end twice lol.

NOTE: I did not wash the car because I was lazy but the paint just needs a buff! cool.gif

My starting price is 6000 WITHOUT the amp, subwoofer, and 0 gauge wire. The rest of the stereo will remain but these other items were not cheap.
6600 with the amp, when fixed or purchased, subwoofer and 0 gauge wire which costed me over 1000.

Obviously I know some people are gonna say negative things either about the price I'm *looking* for or about my car in general.
Do remember she has been my baby for 3 years and it is just time to part from her.

Hate to break it to you man, but you will hear negative things at that price. sad.gif

If by some miracle you end up deciding to put a stock bumper on it, I would LOVE to buy that cuda from you.

yo dude, you might wanna lower that price a bit lol. Especially since its been hit twice and has a salvage title... man no offense but ur better off keeping it as a beater, then getting something nice, or keeping it as a project car or something.

Salvage tibs go for $4000 or less. Your pictures display that you do not take care of your car, as well as the body is in poor condition and needs lots of work and repainting. I'd give you $3,000 for it, assuming you live somewhere I wouldn't have to go very far. I'm not trying to be a dick... From what I've seen of that car in this thread, $3,000 is more then a generous offer.

if you really want to get rid of it, go trade her in you should get a fair trade in value(thats if all else fails)

i would trade it in..

to the average car owner, thats worth about 3000-3500..

its automatic, with almost 80000miles on it, and a knock off body kit. theres about 100-150$ in damage to the sides that i can see, and then the sides would need a repaint. the front bumper also needs repainted.. that alone is about 400-500$ in paint alone.. thats ~600$ in body damage right there..

the head unit was good for its TIME, but its only decent now..

a rim that needs air is not a good selling point, and needing 2 new tires when the car is bought, thats another 250$ easy.

trade in value on that car would be about 2000$. value on here, lucky for 3000$. value on the streets in that condition, with amp, subs, everything, probably less than 4000$..

sorry to burst your bubble, but thats the truth. i would just keep it as a beater..

the salvage title would probably bring the cost to anyone down about 500-800$.

I'm going with everyone else here and saying you have to lower your price. I just sold mine for way less and it had alot more mods. And an engine with alot less miles on it. The thing is with electronics they depreciate in value just like cars so do what was hot a couple years ago isnt really worth anything today.
