ok car needs motor i pretty sure pistons are still good in it tigrelly but whole car $5k motors are cheap you might be able to fix this one frame has probaly around 75-80k and engine had 35k
nice cheap car to have for project and the turbo kit is there already for you.
You would need to pick it up or have it deliverd is no drivable right now cause motor problem.
there is a local junk yard with a 40k one for $300

as SOCK stated earlier, I am the first guy who had a turbo kit for less than 6 month and decided to sell the turbo kit and the car. smile.gif
I was dyno tuning my car at the shop, and after 3 hours of tuning at 89 degreesF, one of the piston ring gave up. i was going to rebiuld the motor, but it would cost at least $4000 USD. Even if I rebuild the motor and install it, another parts would have failed.
I got so tired of dealing with the whole struggling and working on the problems, and I decided to buy a brand new car which I got it already LOL~!
Anyway, I think you need to lower the price for the turbo kit way much if you want them go away fast.
I sold my turbo kit for 65% of it's orginial price, and I sold my car for $2500 USD~! LOL

 

If someone takes turbo kit I want the car as I said previously. I am 45 miles from you.

This thread is lame. Im trying to follow the parts im interested in and it keeps getting clogged with if, ands or buts.

When is your kit for sure on sale?
Are you selling it as a kit or as individual pieces? When will you know, and what are the deciding factors?

I mean im tired of reading this thread and seeing nothing selling just a lotta talk about if this sells thats for sale. The buyer dosnt wanna pay attention to variables like this..

Im not parting it out unless the turbo kit got sold seperate,cause i dont want all left over parts hanging around.
And nate I could care less what you sold your stuff for sucks to be you.You dont like prices dont look.
Also $4k to rebuild your motor,that would of been a fully built motor.Shit i get an engine $300 and pistons for $400
and now i have an engine good for 400hp for under a $1k so i dont know what shop was ripping you off,probaly same one that didnt know how to tune your car.
If you want just the kit $3500 thats as low as im going.Or whole car $5k

You can buy a brand new turbo kit that comes w injectors and all that jazz for the 3500 u want for ur USED and BROKEN stuff.
Ur 700 dollar figure for the 400 hp motor is ludacris. Thats just a built bottom end. No top end, no tuning, no tranny. It comes off as having half the work done. If i bought a motor that only had the bottom end built, id prefer it to be out of the car so i could actually finish the job. Plus any boring you do is gunna be a fee.
ur price for the car itself is good at 5k btw, but u may have trouble selling the whole kit. Thats why parting it out is probably a better option. If you dont want stuff laying around than lower the price.

hate to break it to you adam,tim is running just tigrelly pistons for a while at 400+ with proof.so it cant be done kspec tigrelly pistons $399 engine from junk yard with 40k $300 thats $700 and a good tune.
the twin engine tiburon was running 300+stock motors dont tell me it cant be done it has been done.
