Yeah, I was tired, but yes, it did say that from the beginning brotha.

OP even knows, I know he PM'ed you cause he's a b**** and doesn't like being told what's up, but it's said PFS for the whole time. Looking to make more than $200 for it.

LOL

I am planning on doing a forced induction setup to 20 psi-will this be enough?. I was originally going to do the airram IM along with the 65mm tigerlily TB, but seems that all BBTB's are sold out for our cars. Would it be possible to bore out the stock IM to 61? I work at a machine shop, so as long as there is enough thickness of aluminum in the IM, I can do it. Can you post some pics of the TB? Also redz, do you know if Kspec has any kind of BBTB's for the beta1's anywhere? Returns or anything else? I know 61 is 9mm bigger than stock, so there must be a difference in power, but I am worried it will not be good enough for the 20psi.

How long did you have this installed for? Would you take $220? Paypal? Thanks a lot, and I may or may not buy this yet, I just want to find out what the best route is for what I want to do. I don't want to do it twice you know?

And could you tell me what the difference was like between the stock TB and this one? That is, without initially boring out the stock IM at all.

Thanks a lot man! smile.gif

Thanks for the info tibby. I am quite tempted to buy this, mainly because I am not 100% sure that my turbo plan will ever be carried out (still debating whether or not to spend the $10,000 to build up the engine, trans, and exhuast system). I was wondering if I was to somehow get the airram and a 68mm TB if my car would get faster or slower NA. I would think that NA I would be better off just to get this 61mm and bore out the stock IM as much as possible. That way I still have SOME low end. My top end should be beastly though! Even if I wanted to just do the turbo with the 61mm TB and bored stock IM, it would be 9mm bigger than the stock size, and there are many people running 15psi on the stock IM, just not too efficiently I suppose.

What I am basically saying is why not buy this now, bore out the stock IM to try and match the 61 if not, the 59 (the insert comes with it right redz?). If I ever decide to go big, I can get the airram and the other TB and sell this one. So how bout it redz-$220? I can paypal it or whatever you like. Thanks.

For now, I definately want that TB redz-I call dibs. Let me know about the $220-with shipping included, and how you would like me to pay for it. I live at 21921, so it is pretty far, but shouldn't cost more than 5-10 bucks.

I think I will hold off on the airram because I don't have the money (college starting back up soon, can't work as much and need $ for books), and I think my car would run better with a 61mm IM and TB than a 68mm, NA anyways. Turbo is another story, but like I said, that is about 2 years from now.

Thanks.

The AIRRAM is a GREAT addition to any n/a OR turbo setup.
You won't lose low end with the AIRRAM and being n/a, but you would lose a lot of low end power being n/a and having a 65mm tb.

I am glad to hear that, but right now the airram is just not in my budget. I am sure that they will still be manufacturing them in a couple of years (I hope). I will just get one then if I decide to go turbo.

Mmmm, I would like to get one though, maybe I will stretch my budget and buy one from someone for $500. Are you sure I won't lose any low end power with it?The only problem is, where can I get a 68mm TB to match it? Does anyone know? Thanks.

You won't want a 68mm for n/a..

biggest that has been tried is 61, but everyone says they want to test out a 63-65. not sure what will happen..

the opening is 68mm, but even the stock TB can still bolt up to the airram.
