Hey guys, long time no see(does anyone even remember me?). My Tib has been decaying over the last four years and its time I put tome TLC into her again. I found a dead Tiburon on CL for cheap and I'm going to stock up on all the parts I need (it's a lot), which I'm listing below as not available. IYou feel free to request any other part ASAP as I'm going to gut the car Saturday and will have it only for that day. Keep in mind, that I will have tons o parts already to haul so stuff like hoods or doors I probably can't yank (unless you can come pickup this saturday 3/20). I can ship stuff out Monday afternoon (from Somerville, Ma 02144), as soon as paypal clears. I've had a lot of good transactions with RDTib members in the past though I haven't been on lately cause it's almost impossible to keep up on car stuff while living in a city. Anyway, I'll be checking this very frequently so feel free to ask away with any questions.

What is available:
Well, the car was jumped backwards by some kid and apparently the mechanic who bought it in attempts to fix it is giving up. That being said, anything like an ECU or stereo might be an iffy purchase, I can try and test anything as best I can for you.

 

Just a suggestion, but a video walk-around may be helpful. I'm ALWAYS looking for a few parts and I'd like to see general condition.

 

I'm going to check out the car tomorrow afternoon after work. I'll take plenty of pictures, but my camera doesn't take video unfortunately.

 

Is it the black one? I tried checking that one out today but they didn't answer.....but did send me their number.

To be honest, I've only spoken with the dude on the phone and the ad didn't say what color it is (it didn't really matter to me). He's also pulled the add from CL so I can't check. I will be going after work today to see it in person, take pics and possibly talk the guy down a lil if its worse shape than I'm expecting.

Pics coming soon, just got back from looking at the car. In good shape, I honestly think its fuel problems that are keeping it from running, but I don't want a second tib, just want mine to work properly.

EDIT, here are the pics. Turns out the spoiler has a chunk missing, and the engine turns over, but isn't getting fuel, i'm guessing fuel pump since the plugs are dry.
