Hey man. The water here was nuts as well. Im not surprised that it sucked up some water. Anyway this is a 97 right? 2.0 right? And does it have cruise and AC? When I sell a car here shortly Id love to pick it up. Any rust starting on rear wheel wells or anything?

i was going to text u about it. yeah its a 97 FX 2.0L. has cuise and ac, (has a light weight crank pulley with all the right belts), so ac does work.. there is slight rust on the passager side wheel well.
after work bump.

Hey, question. From what I've read, you have the oil pan off already? If you can, take a flashlight, and look up into it. Are any of the rods bent? Trust me it'll be noticeable if one is. I had this happen and i looked in, had never looked at a rod before..and it was clear. Sounds like what mine did, but maybe if you're lucky one didnt bend and it'll be a relatively easy fix.
Also, you said you hand cranked it? Could you make any revolutions or would it not budge at all? If it would turn, have you tried a different battery?
