Looks nice, probably sounds like a beast, but good luck getting top dollar for a car with a 'misfire' CEL that won't pass emissions due to lack of a cat.

I don't find $11,000 to be top dollar. I wanted $12,500 so I figure the $1,500 could go towards a
$50 Cat
$50 Shop to Install
$400 Tune Parts
$350 for a Shop to Tune it
So $800-$900 to make the car pass, so basically $12k for the car in complete legal form and a professional tune. Doesn't seem bad to me, or, if the person knows what they're doing, they can scratch the $350 for a shop to tune and do it themselves with a laptop.

good luck with the sale..
i think the big turn-off to anyone interested is a misfire from idling too long.
you really think your 'mild' regrinds are causing that much of an A/F difference? causing it to misfire.

Yep. It didn't do it till the cam install. The only other thing that it may be is the MAF, which would actually be a good thing as another Tib owner who is local said that his Tiburon was throwing misfire codes as well when his MAF went bad. I think I should get with him this week and swap our maf's and see if that is the case with mine. Would be a hell of a lot easier to fix; go buy a $150 MAF and swap out.

id recommend trying some simple fix's to the misfire issue, fixing that, and then itll be a golden sell hopefully.. shit, if i could sell my srt for a decent price, id buy it if you were closer.

Yeah, as I said, a local Tib owner of mine who is supercharged said when his first maf went, it was reading Misfires as mine is. When his second MAF went (He has bad luck with MAF's) it was causing him to tune it so strangely, putting my MAF in his car made the numbers go nuts on his tune.
MAF's are amazing what they can do when they go bad. I truly hope that it is the problem, would help sell it indeed much quicker.
I'd take your SRT... if I wasn't selling this because I need a truck =/ lol
