Motegi Trak_lite 17x7 Gunmetal 14 Lbs. 5x114.3 / 5x4.5 Wheels & Lugnuts $600.00
Awesome, but I still do not know what parts he swapped or from what car. I am assuming everything is from the GK. Until I get someone who has personally done the swap to tell me what is needed...
Not to mention with 4 lugs & lug nuts there is just that much less rotating mass.
I am interested in the swap, I just some things to think about...

Of course...
I am on there from time to time, but most of the original members from when I was a Prober have left and the board has taken a turn lately, I think.
I have had (7) 2nd Gen. Probes (3 SE's and 3 GT's and 1 GTS) and (1) 1992 Probe LX V-6.
I had one of very few truely powerful N/A PGT's. It had 197 WHP and ran extremely low 14's at the track on super sticky street tires and full interior with all factory options functional. I kept the sleeper look as much as possible. Even under the hood looked pretty mild. I also removed the 3-pillar gauge pod and gauges along with the Ichibahn pedals to keep the interior near stock looking...
I ran mostly at WIR in Kaukauna, WI (3.5 hours) as it is the closest track to me and a couple times I went to Great Lakes Dragway (5.5 hours).
The last time I ran it was when I went to WIR for the real street drags to meet Jeff Jeske. He just bought his EVO and said I could take it for a spin. It was crazy busy, but I got a lot of props from everyone for having an N/A 2.5L running as well as I did in a full dressed car. there was like 550 cars there that night and I never did get to drive Jeske's EVO 02.gif .
That car was built more for the road courses though. All I can say is damn! That car would out brake a lot of exotics! Todd Reid will back that up 110%.
I just sold it a few months ago to a fellow ProbeTalk'er down in South Carolina. I also just sold my modded 1997 Probe SE to a guy down in Ohio.
Here is the basic rundown:

Ironically enough ordered those NEW ADR 17x7-inch silver wheels and 225-45ZR-17-inch tires so I would not have to sell my Motegi Trak_Lites & Yokohomas.

Yeah I remember you from PT. I sent you a PM when I first started to post here. Apparently you don't remember. lmao.gif
I am a 5-star member on PT too. Shortly after I donated the $110.00 I quit using PT. laugh.gif I really loved Probes and the site back then so it was for a great cause.
I didn't officially sign up for probetalk until Jan 2001. I used the site as much as I could for about a year before that though.
From one aging poor mans car to another...
