it will bolt up to the stock exhaust manifold...you dont need to buy headers with it

how do you base that comment? by what people have said?
ive never seen or heard a apexi up close or even heard of anyone dynoing it

the mbrp ive heard up close ive seen up close and ive seen dynos proving gain over other catbacks so me its the best one out there for you guys hell if i could use this i might have got it myself

all i know for sure is it fits 2000-2001 .. there has to be someone somewhere on this site that knows if it fits a 97....and as for 2.25" I dont know..if thats the size MBRP is then thats what it is

It won't "bolt on" to a 97, the front flange is a 2 bolt on the 97-00's. Late 00's and 01's (and any other car that has cali emmissions) will have a 3 bolt front flange (right after the flex).

But minor work a shop can do for you.

Do a search for the Apexi. You'll find a dyno chart showing very good gains (I'd post it for you, but Im in South Asia for another week or so, no bookmarks 02.gif ). Add to that the near ideal sound and you'll easily see why it's regarded as the best catback for our cars. Only problem is that there are only 10 pieces in circulation. I have no. 10.

Never thought a simple exhaust could change the nature of a car as much as that Japanese hunk of metal changed the nature of my tib. Even my TRD Supercharged Solara's GREDDY didn't look/sound/ feel half as good. If you can get your hands on one, you won't regret it.
