I don't remember how much I paid for this. I'm thinking it was in the 60-70 range. I'm not using it now because I got a decomp. gasket.

50+shipping.

I'll have to check... I was thinking it was like $70 for this one from the dealer. Thats weird that autozone is higher!

I'll have to look up the number for it when I get home. I just called up the dealer and asked for a Head Gasket for a 2001, then took my vin number and got me the part.

Sorry to hi-jack... so just to verify; the $300 decomp plate from kspec, sr or sfr already comes with the headgaskets, so it's just needs to be installed?

that is indeed correct, they are actually rivited on... there are tabs that stick out of the motor a bit that have the gaskets attached at those points. I assume if I was ever to need to replace it I could just get two stock gaskets, I think it's designed to just be completely replaced though.

Really? Wow. My Alpine one made me use two gaskets with it.
