Just bid up his car so he cant sell it, make him relist it then do it again. After three times he will get slapped with the Ebay fees and VOILA ! you get your money back wink1.gif

Bid it up really high on a dummy eBay account, and then never pay. He will get charged by eBay a percentage of what the car sold for (a lot, that's the point) until eBay realized the car didn't sell when he relists it. Doing this will annoy him because he will have to keep asking eBay to relist the item, and ask for a refund on his money.

It's pointless though, because he doesn't lose any money, doesn't get in any trouble, etc. All this can do is annoy him.

Some of you need to remember what happened. This moron showed up with huge promises, we told him it wasn't going to happen, and he kept pushing it.

He asked for parts, we sent him parts for R&D, which never happened, so the parts need returned.

GO READ THE RELEVANT THREADS before you post anything.

Shops don't tell you they are going to do something, then come and ask you for another 1,000 dollars to finish it. It's called a QUOTE for a reason. If you remember correctly, this shop wanted 10,000 dollars or more at one time to buy some equipment needed to make these Intake Manifolds, and we all called bullshit.

We need to take care of this shiester.

^^ Like i said before, I'm relatively close and I've got no problem driving 3 hours to take care of some business if any *LEGAL* ground pounding needs to be done.

If you come up with a list of information you need, I'll do a legal recon.

This issue could easily be settled in a civil court. This is definately wrong. But not clearly illegal.

Throughout the whole R&D thread, I kind of felt for GBS because at least he was actually trying to do something for the community, and he got screwed, and then everyone turned on him. However, I agree that he pretty much stole the parts once he put them on his car and decided to sell it.

I do contracting on the side and it's happened where shit happened and I had to take a loss to please others. Shit happens, you just have to deal with it, but instead you're just ignoring it while screwing someone else over. Just bite the bullet, ship the parts back, or send some cash to compensate for it.

Then you can be done with it and sell your car and get some cash in return.

Because he seems to be back on the site looking for an engine now I would like to encourage people to not go out of there way to help this guy. This thread should be locked. Just wanted to say people shouldnt help someone who never helped the community. It wasnt even the fact that the parts were lost, it was the way he handled it and acted all high and mighty. Then what really pissed me off is that the parts that were "stolen" by the shop were never stolen. I wrote him on ebay and asked about spare parts and he told me he had a spare IM and throttle body. Just to much of a dick and lazyass to ship them back. fukyou.gif

And... locked.gif
