Ok, well, its time for a change!!! Just wanted to gauge interest in my current ICE setup:
2 Alpine Type R 10's in custom light weight enclosures. Enclosures made with 1/2 MDF instead of 3/4. Saved a TON of weight! each speaker.box combination weighs approximately 34 lbs. They hit hard!
Reason I am considering selling: I am getting old! LOL!! I simply do not listen to my music loud enough to wake the neighbors any more! Super nice with banana style quick connect terminals in the back.
I will be using the money to build a bit more subtle sub install. I'm looking for a ball park of 300.00 for the enclosures and 150 for the subs plus shipping charges.
I'm also considering selling my Alpine head unit. Its an Alpine 9807. Looking for 120.00 plus shipping.
This is a GI post! Just want to see who might be interested before I fully commit to selling these!

dang i was really excited to see this until i saw your box set ups
im looking to do something a little different with either some type e's or type r's (not sure which yet) because the 10" bolt i have right now could use some upgrading
bump for high quality subs

Don't use age as an excuse. I've got 5 years on you and this is my setup:

The Tib hatch looks really similar to my XD2 Elantra hatch. You have any XD2's local you could test fit them in? Also, would you sell just the boxes? I have 2 Boston Pro 10.4's already.

I have to vouch for the quality of this setup and the quality of build from Tom here, these are done with top notch care. All the judges at the Nopi shows would always want to see everything about them.
Someone pick em up, if I weren't weight conscious to make up for my fat ass, I'd pick them up.

You might be interested in my next build project man. I'll have to fill you in on the details when its more concrete in my head.

If you're willing to sell them separate, I'll take one side. I like to have the hatch space, and 2 type r's is too loud for me. A friend of mine has 2 type r's in his grand prix, they are loud as hell.
Let me know.
