FS: X3 Coupe Beta Swapped
$1400, bring a trailer, take it all...
i have a 2dr dark green 99 x3 w/ a 2.0L swap. shell has 104k on it. inspected in NH in october w/ the swap. other mods include:
interior:
b&m short throw shifter for tibby
x3 cluster swap w/ tach
sunpro boost gauge steering column mounted
heated driver seat
full stock interior (not gutted)
exterior:
15" 2001 tiburon wheels w/ 195x50x15 falken tires (only 3k on the tires)
front tiburon knuckle swap rotors/calipers
rear tiburon knuckle swap from x3 drums to tibby rotors/calipers (also has tibby rear springs and struts w/ x3 tophats)
ebrake cable modded to work w/ rear swap
'96 x3 front bumper
front strut tower bar
3rd brake light removed
motor:
2.0L tibby motor, had 66k on when swapped, have driven about 4k
beta2 valve cover
solid x3 mounts from kspec
1999 x3 tranny
SPEC stage 2+ clutch
tibby aluminum fidanza flywheel
before performing the swap replaced timing belt, water pump, etc
1.8l cam
phenolic spacer for intake manifold
underdrive pulley (w/ shorter belt to match)
it is possible to replace the belt normally in this car, no need to loosen motor mount or tilt motor
4-2-1 header
catted 2.5" exhaust into magnaflow straight through muffler w/ oval tip (similar to new honda accord tip)
battery is in the trunk (battery replaced about three months ago)
Walbro 255 Fuel Pump
HomeDepot style oil catch can
the bad:
body has it's typical dings and dents, rear bumper has some chips in the paint
the carpet had a hole from resting foot near gas pedal
drivers side marker light has a crack in it
trunk is empty except for a 5th 15" tibby wheel w/ a 195x50x15 tire (full size spare)
seats are grungy
needs:
an alignment
reverse sensor (reverse lights don't always come on, tested the sensor at the top of the tranny)
i also have almost a full turbo kit for it and some other spare parts.
turbo kit is a T3 externally wastegated setup. includes:
intercooler pipe, intercooler, turbosmart blow off valve (all fit perfectly in a tibby or x3)
turbosmart 35mm external wastegate
3" intake
Garrett T3 w/ 4 bolt exhaust side
oil pan w/ return (this is already on the car but it is plugged)
oil feed line (also already on the car but is plugged)
440cc greentop ford racing injectors (same form factor as the stock hyundai injectors)
have a turboxs dtec fuel tuner / boost controller kit
also has a downpipe w/ 2 o2 bungs but one side has been hammered to fit in the x3 w/ stock radiator
only things you would need are an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and a manifold, the one i have has some hairline cracks in it. if you're interested in car and kit you can have it if you know someone who can try to fix.
still have the stock motor and several stock parts. also have a megan racing civic radiator, half width triple core.
looking for$2400 BEST OFFER pretty firm $1400, for the car because of the mods and "new" maintenance parts (brakes, tires, radiator, thermostat, housing gaskets, master/slave clutch cylinder). if interested in the turbo bits as well, could work out a fantastic deal they're included! not looking to seperate the turbo bits unless the car moves. so it would be car only, or car and turbo kit.

reserved for pics. i have a ton but if you're interested and looking for something specific, let me know. i kept a "log" from stock through each mod.
rear bumper, paint chips
front bumper (96 bumper, trimmed to fit FMIC), hood has little rust, painted with red touch up (all i had)
scratch passenger side rear quarter, rear rotor swap
new 2.5" catted exhaust
grungy rear seats
front seats, sun visors were replaced old ones on floor
turbo was installed (only for approximately 500 miles, returned to NA for winter and better tuning solution)
when first swapped
also forgot to mention it has a walbro 255 fuel pump and a home depot style oil catch can.
engine bay looks similar to when first swapped except battery is in a marine battery box and bolted to passengers side of trunk.

is that the turbo system that was on sale her a couple of months back that was installed in an 01' tiburon?
if it is how much do want for the turbo system by itself? hay you modified the intercooler pipes to fit the X3 or can they still be used like before on a tib??
