PFf, in NY you could have a street legal twin engine tib, and we have OBDII along with "safety" inspections.
As long as the front engine was using a piggy back and it didnt have a CEL and you had good tires and your signals worked youd pass.
but this particular one i believe is standalone on both engines, but for this particular one there's always Florida and some of those other states in the middle of knowwhere wink1.gif

Umm, or even the state that it's in: TEXAS!!!!
woot!
That's why I'm running a standalone on my daily Tib.
McItyre also entered that Tib in the "street legal" class in El Paso. He had up to date reg. and insp. stickers. A lot of 10 sec Supras protested and threw a fit when he beat them, but it was all legal.

Yeh in newyork as long as there is no check engine light on and all the lights and stuff work they will probally pass you no problem. For what reason do they need to look in the trunk of the car. As long as that computer says that you pass 99% of the time you will. Unless its your tires are bald or something like that

pff i go in there with a big intercooler hanging out & with my CF hood and he doesnt even ask to look under the hood, lol
If you go to the right shop, they dont give a shit.
But yes, on paper, this twin engine tib is street legal. If DOT gave it a thorough fine tooth comb exam? of course it wouldnt pass, but for all intensive purposes, she's 100% street legal
